Duke of Edinburgh Awards

We offer work experience for Duke of Edinburgh Awards in two categories and at all levels.

Aspiring young coaches

We offer six-week work experience blocks for aspiring young coaches from the age of 12. Places are limited, so please get in touch with us in plenty of time.

University & college students

We provide work placements for university and college students who are studying coaching.

We hope to expand our futsal workforce and, in 2026, will employ our first home-grown, qualified coaches — which will be a great milestone.

Coach Education

We support young coaches to gain qualifications through recognised coach education programmes, helping them develop skills, experience and future career opportunities.

What We Have Provided This Year

Work experience for 3 Duke of Edinburgh students
3 college work placements through Oaklands College
1 university work placement through Loughborough University
3 paid coaching roles for U19s, providing valuable employment experience and strengthening their CVs
Overseas work experience opportunities for 2 Year 12 coaches

Some of the players who joined us at age 7 are now 16+ and coaching with us.
